For 6 & 7 years old
Perfect for growing dancers, these classes build strong technical foundations while encouraging creativity, musicality and teamwork. Dancers explore ballet, jazz and tap with age-appropriate structure and support.
Performance Teams
For dancers seeking more opportunities, our performance programs combine multiple styles, examinations and team experiences with streamlined schedules and exceptional value.
Under 5 years
Our early years program introduces young dancers to the joy of movement through ballet, jazz and tap foundations. Classes focus on coordination, confidence, listening skills and imagination in a playful, nurturing setting.
For 7 years plus
Designed for dancers who love to move, our recreational classes offer quality training across jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and acro — without the pressure of competitions — fostering confidence and enjoyment.
Talent Development Program
TDP is designed for motivated dancers ready to build strong technique, performance skills and confidence in a supportive, team-focused environment. Through structured training, examinations and performance opportunities, dancers are challenged to grow both as artists and as young people, on and off the stage.

What to wear

PMPA maintains a dress code to encourage concentration and a sense of inclusiveness (variations in attire can be distracting and contribute to feelings of inequality).

Uniformity in Dancewear allows the teachers to assess how well the students are implementing the technique being taught, problems with alignment, and other important aspects of dance training.

Students should carry their Dancewear, shoes, and other belongings in a dance bag. Please print your child’s name on the bag as well as on all of its contents.
Dancewear is to be kept in good repair and laundered on a regular basis.
Watches, jewellery, and safety pins should not be worn to class.
Dance shoes should never be worn outside.
Students should wear their hair tightly secured and styled away from the face in a neat bun.
Students are expected to observe good personal hygiene habits. Deodorant is required for students age 10 and older.
Dancewear should always be covered up on arrival and departure of the studios.

Uniform Requirements

Twinkle Toes

Pink leotards with optional matching skirts are worn with pink classical tights and soft leather ballet shoes. At this level it is also acceptable for children to wear clothes that are comfortable and loose fitting instead of uniform, however ballet shoes must always be worn.

Mini Movers & Mini Men Classes

Comfortable clothing and sneakers should be worn for these classes.

For All Dancers Aged 7 - 12 Years In Ballet Classes

The PMPA uniform consisting of PMPA Dance leotard, PMPA Skirt must be worn in class with pink ballet tights and soft leather or canvas ballet shoes.

Senior Classical Classes

PMPA Leotard or Black leotard, pink classical tights and soft leather ballet shoes.

Contemporary Classes

The PMPA uniform consisting of PMPA Dance leotard, PMPA Shorts, PMPA Skirt must be worn in class with tan stirrup tights or convertible ballet tights, and barefeet.

Dance Acro Classes

The PMPA uniform consisting of PMPA Dance leotard, PMPA Shorts, PMPA Skirt must be worn in class with tan stirrup tights or convertible ballet tights, barefeet. No midriff two piece outfits to be worn in class.

Combo Classes

PMPA Combo Dress, pink ballet tights, buckle tap shoes, tan jazz shoes, pink leather ballet shoes. Tan tights may be required for performances. Students may also wear PMPA Crossover.
