If you move away from the area and our studio can no longer reasonably be accessed by you, please send an email to admin@pmperformingarts.com and we can finalise your account.

If your child cannot attend class for any reason, please post on the PMPA Attendance group on Facebook so that your child’s teacher is aware that they will not be in attendance. They may be able to participate in a make up class if places are available, please contact the office to arrange this. In the case of on-going illness or injury, please send a copy of the doctors certificate to the office, we welcome injured students to watch class so they can continue to learn. We do not offer drop-in classes for school-aged students.
We offer 2 types of casual, drop in classes for children under 5yrs.

Kindy Gym
Kindy Gym is a gymnastics based movement class for 2yrs to 5yrs focussing on coordination, exercise and fun. No need to register, $5 on the day, just turn up. Classes are Monday and Friday at 9am during school terms.

Mini Movers, Mums and Dads
Mini Movers is a specialised and unique Early Development program offered to younger children from walking age to 2 years. This class is equally suitable for boys & girls. Children participate in the class with the adult actively assisting & participating. Children will enjoy the movement and music and love seeing their Mum or Dad dancing next to them. Involving both beautiful music and favourites like Hi-5, the children literally start to point, twirl, jump, wriggle and giggle right before your eyes!

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 9am during school terms – $5 Casual class, no need to book, just come along!

Mini Movers can start as soon as mum or dad wants to bring them in. We have babies in arms that are 3 months old! Mum and/or dad join in Mini Movers class, dancer become independant when they enter Twinkle toes at 3 years.

The short answer is anything they are comfortable in! We want our dancers to be as comfortable as possible when they join us for the first time. A shirt and tights or shorts is usually best if they don’t have any dance clothes. Bare feet is fine. We recommend you don’t go buying any new dancewear or shoes until your child decides they want to enrol for the term. Once you are enrolled we can assist in helping you with uniform purchases in our office located at the studio!

Parents can view any class they want from our viewing TVs in the foyer of the indoor stadium but we don’t allow parents in the room during classes. We find the dancer’s concentration and focus is best when they don’t have any distractions. Mini movers is a class where the parents are involved in the class and so they are encouraged to join in the fun!

Welcome! Come on into the foyer of our studios, it will be chaotic if you are arriving during a class change over time, but please know its organised chaos in motion! Your child’s teacher will come out to collect the class and should be expecting you. If the office is open, the lights will be on above the desk, then just make yourself known to our staff and they will guide you in the right direction. If in doubt, any of our friendly parents in the foyer, or our senior students and Ambassadors of Dance will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. Then you can sit back and watch the class on our TV screens, or feel free to go and do the groceries, or get a coffee from Game Over Cafe!

If your child does not wish to participate in performances that is totally fine, all performances are optional, just please let your child’s teacher know well in advance. We have “recreational” classes that just work on technique and are a fun class that students can enjoy with their friends without the pressure of competitions or eisteddfods.

We have two performances a year that your child can participate in. We have a Showcase that we have in the middle of the year at the end of Semester 1 and then we have an End of Year Concert at the end of Semester 2.

Nope. We outline for you not only your class fees but also any performance costs or costume hire prior to your enrolment, you have the option to opt-out of any performances that you do not wish to participate in prior to the start of the semester the performance falls in.

We also present a ballet every second year for the ballet students and a musical every other year for the jazz and musical theatre students. To ensure your child is enrolled in a class which fulfils your performance expectations please see your handbook or prospectus for all class information.

Invoices for the whole semester are paid upfront or using our Autopay system (13 payments over the semester). If you wish to pay the casual rate for classes, this can be arranged, please speak to the office.
